A good book to read relating to strategic management?

I am taking a class called Business Policy that deals with strategic management, competitive advantage, core competencies, etc. We have to pick a book to read that we can relate to anything that was talked about during the course. Can anyone give me the title to a good book that relates to strategic management?

There are 2 related books which would be excellent sources:

“Making Strategy: The Journey of Strategic Management” (1998) by Colin Eden and Fran Ackermann

“The Practice of Making Strategy: A Step-by-Step Guide” (2004) by Fran Ackermann, Ian Brown, and Colin Eden

The topics you mentioned and much more are addressed thoroughly in each book.
